Privacy Policy

The short version

VoiceInk Free processes all audio entirely on your device using Whisper AI. Nothing is recorded, stored, or transmitted. Pro mode streams audio to Deepgram for real-time transcription only — no recordings are retained after processing.

What data we collect

• Account data: Email address and name, via Clerk authentication (Google OAuth or email).
• Usage counts: Number of transcriptions per day, stored locally on your device and synced to our server only to enforce tier limits.
• Payment data: Handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card details.
• Audio: Free tier — never transmitted. Pro tier — streamed to Deepgram for transcription; not stored after processing.

What we do not collect

• We do not record, store, or analyze your voice or transcriptions.
• We do not sell your data to any third party.
• We do not use third-party analytics or ad trackers (no Google Analytics, no Facebook Pixel). On our blog we count anonymous, aggregate engagement (page views, scroll depth, time on page) with a first-party session id only. No cookies, no personal data, never sold.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time by contacting us at nisse@ibuiltthis.ai. We will delete all account data within 30 days of your request.
