Protect Your Hands: A Developer's Guide to Typing Less

A software developer writing code, documentation, Slack messages, emails, pull request descriptions, and comments can easily hit 10,000 to 15,000 keystrokes in a working day. The Real Goal Is Sustainability
You probably do not think much about your hands until they start hurting. By that point, you are already managing a problem rather than preventing one. Reducing your daily keystroke count by 20 to 30 percent through voice input is not a dramatic change, but over months and years it is a meaningful reduction in cumulative strain.
